I started my first company at 18. That brand now sells in all 50 states and more than 20 countries.
Building it taught me how to run tight systems and how to sell with discipline. Novelus brings those same systems and that same sales discipline to homeowners, so your home is marketed well, run consistently, and kept in good shape.

Straight answers
How does Novelus get paid?
Novelus is paid a percentage of rental income, 25%, so we only earn when you earn. The exact terms are in the management agreement, which you review before signing.
What do I still pay for?
The home's own costs stay with you: mortgage, property taxes, utilities, insurance, HOA dues, repairs, and furnishings. Guests pay the cleaning fee.
What about insurance and damage?
Airbnb includes AirCover for Hosts, which includes host damage protection and host liability insurance, subject to Airbnb's terms, conditions, and exclusions. It is not a replacement for your own insurance. You can read the details on Airbnb's AirCover for Hosts page.
We recommend carrying a short-term rental insurance policy on the home.
Do I need a permit?
It depends on where your home is. Many cities and counties require a short-term rental permit or business license, and some HOAs restrict rentals. We check the local rules for your address with you before launch. Where a permit is required, you hold it in your name.
How long is the contract?
It starts with a 3-month trial, then continues month to month with 30 days' notice. The full terms are in the management agreement.
How do I get paid?
Guests pay through the booking platforms. You receive a monthly owner statement and payout, as set out in the management agreement.
Where do you operate?
We are based in Tennessee, in Knoxville and the Smokies, and we serve select homes across the US. Your free estimate tells you whether your home is a fit.
My home is unfurnished. Can it still work?
Mid-term guests, like traveling nurses, need a furnished home. If yours is unfurnished, we can talk through what it would take on your intro call.
